Naira gains 1.79% at the Investors and Exporters window
The naira strengthened against the dollar on Tuesday, trading at N756.61 in the Investors and Exporters window.
When compared to N770.38 on Monday, when it was exchanged for one dollar, the naira increased by 1.79 percent.
On Tuesday, the open indicative rate achieved a high of N701.75.
Prior to settling at N756.61 in the day’s trading, the highest exchange rate ever seen was N781 to the dollar.
In the course of the day’s trade, the naira fell as low as 465 to the dollar.
Daily Nigeria gathered that, On Tuesday, transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 134.47 million dollars.
