Buhari Mourns General Dzarma Zirkusu And Three Other Soldiers Killed By ISWAP

President Buhari has asked God to comfort the Armed Forces and bereaved families mourning the tragic passing of four soldiers.

In his condolence message, the president expressed sadness over the death of Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkusu and three soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice The gallant officers were killed in an ambush by the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in Borno state.

The Nigerian leader in a statement released on his official Facebook (Meta) page expressed sorrow at their deaths, saying the deceased paid the supreme sacrifice in a very rare display of gallantry.

While urging the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Faruk Yahaya to accept his heartfelt condolences, Buhari went on to note that Nigeria has lost brave soldiers. The president offered prayers to God, asking that the Armed Forces and bereaved families to be strengthened to bear the irreparable loss.
