1989 saw the birth of Sean Tizzle, the fourth of five children, into a Christian household. Despite being born in Ikeja, he spent his childhood growing up in Ikorodu. He attended the Command Secondary School in Ibadan and the Community Grammar School in Majidun, before continuing his education at the University of Ibadan to study theater arts. He started in the music industry as a rapper for the 3-Way band.
Following the release of his massive hit song Sho Lee in 2013, Sean became well-known and collaborated with Unlimited L.A. to create the music video.
MTN Nigeria said in 2014 that the musician had signed a 20 million naira endorsement contract. That same August, he also became a Bacardi Breezer Ambassador.

In a supposed live interview, Sean Tizzle left when asked if he bleaches his skin.
Sean gave the interviewer the middle finger and said, “I don’t know why I would bring this question out,” in response to the inquiry. He also asked the host if it appeared that he was bleaching.
In a different interview, Sean explained his skin tone, stating that he has never bleached his skin and that excessive photo processing gives the impression that he has.
“The media just released a lot of unverified reports,” he declared. You have no idea who I am, yet you still choose to criticize me. My skin was never bleached. I used to be this guy who liked retouching photos before I became famous because I thought it would make me look younger, which is the same error I made with the photos I uploaded back then.
Since using filters on my photos was already a part of who I am, I uploaded an image that I had altered in the same way. Unfortunately, it backfired and many thought I had bleached my skin. You see me, I look like someone who bleaches. I no longer alter my photos; I just upload them as they are today.
