Atiku, Bala Muhammad And Former Bauchi State Governors In Azare for Emir’s Coronation
The former Vice President of Nigeria and the presidential candidate of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was yesterday present at the coronation ceremony and presentation of staff of office to the Emir of katagum, His Royal highness ALHAJI Umar Faruk II in Azare, Bauchi state.
Dignitaries in Attendance include Ministers and former governors of the state. Malam Adamu Adamu, Ambassador Mariam Katagum, Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu and Alhaji Isa Yuguda, among others.
The coronation has waited Five years after his appointment in office by the former Governor Barr. Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar in 2017 after his father’s demise. He ascended the throne in December 2017.
His Excellency Governor Bala Muhammad has advised the Traditional institutions to reactive the traditional security system which will aid in curbing insecurity in the state..
