Application For The Police Cadet Degree Is Now Open

The 10th regular course cadet degree program of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Academy is now officially accepting online applications.

According to a statement from the police spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the online registration process will be open for six (6) weeks (from 24 July to 3 September 2023) and would give both male and female Nigerians of good character the chance to serve their country.

The requirements for admission into the Academy
include:
i. The applicants must be of Nigerian origin and by birth

iI. Possess National Identity Number (NIN)

iii. Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) result (2023 only) with not less than 180 marks

iv. The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil must have been the applicant’s first option on the JAMB application

v. They are required to have earned a minimum of 6 credits in no more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent, with credit passes in English and mathematics

vi. Candidates must have a working phone number and email address, and they cannot be married or expecting at the time of application

vii. While the application process is virtual, SSCE (WAEC/NECO) Statements of Results or certifications from before 2019 will not be accepted.

Visit the Academy’s website at https://polac.edu.ng to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code, which will be used to pay the non-refundable application fee of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria. This advice is given to all interested applicants who meet the aforementioned requirements.

Applicants must fill out a form after making a successful payment and upload scanned copies of their SSCE results, birth certificate, and state of origin certificate.

After that, candidates must print their completed online applications and guarantor documents to bring with them to the Nigeria Police Academy for the physical examination.

An automated physical examination exercise will take place at the Academy on a day that will be announced soon.

Successful candidates will take a computer-based test (CBT), an automated medical screening exercise, and an automated interview/selection exercise before being selected for a 5-year academic and police training program that will result in a bachelor’s degree and commissioning as an assistant superintendent of police II in the Nigerian Police Force.
