Governor Yahaya Bello And His Counterpart Exchanges Hot Argument
Governor Yahya Bello and his Nassarawa counterpart, Abdullahi Sule exchanged hot arguments on Sunday when 22 governors of the APC met at the Kebbi Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.
Nassarawa state governor Abdullahi Sule who is one of the biggest advocates of power shift to the South advocated for direct primaries to enable primary election to involve every member of the party, his Kogi counterpart, Yahya Bello however insisted on Indirect Primary where delegates choose leaders.
It took the intervention of the Chairman of the APC Governors, Abubakar Bagudu to restore calm.
