Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, born on 19 September 1962 in Babura, Jigawa State, is a prominent Nigerian politician, businessman, and public servant.
He obtained a B.Sc in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1985 and later became a Member of the National Institute (mni) after attending NIPSS Kuru.
He started his career as an auditor in the Kano State Ministry of Finance (1987–1991) before founding the Talamiz Group in 1991, a conglomerate with interests in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and commerce.
