Somesh Kumar Biography
Mr. Somesh Kumar was born on December 22, 1963, and the University of Delhi awarded him a master’s degree in psychology.
He made his imprint on the government by working in well-known agencies including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Tribal Welfare, Revenue-Commercial Taxes and Excise Collegiate Education, and AP Urban Services for Poor.
Back then property taxes increased, the well-known “5 for a meal” program was launched, and the Strategic Road Development Plan was implemented when Somesh served as GHMC Commissioner.
When he was the head of the Tribal Welfare Department, he launched the Chief Minister’s ST Entrepreneurship Innovation Initiative.
He was a Sub-Collector at Bodhan and Nizamabad at the start of his career. Later, he was appointed the district’s Collector for Anantapur.
