Kwankwaso’s Shock Over Ganduje’s Political Stance
Former Kano State governor and senator, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has expressed his deep disappointment over his political fallout with Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
According to him, he never considered Ganduje an enemy from the onset of their political journey.
Reflecting on their past, Kwankwaso recalled how he played a key role in Ganduje’s rise in politics.
“I still remember when we sent him across the border for a post, and later, I personally chose him as my deputy. We even reserved a free deputy governor’s nomination form for him. In Kwankwasiyya, financial capacity was never a barrier,” he said emotionally.

Political Rift and Ganduje’s Silence
The former governor expressed disappointment over their strained relationship, especially considering the conducive political atmosphere he once provided for Ganduje.
However, Ganduje has remained silent on the matter, refusing to address the issue publicly.
Meanwhile, his loyalists have dismissed Kwankwaso’s sentiments, stating that the matter is irrelevant at this time.
They insist that Ganduje is focused on his duties as the state’s leader, and political grievances should not overshadow governance.
