The New Face Of Banditry
Banditry has been for a while but destruction, creation of panic, and endangering the lives of people in the country. It’s almost a month now that the so-called ‘yan kidnapin (kidnappers) attacked, due to the operations and presence of the Nigerian Military around those affected areas. As the protection of the lives and property of every citizen is highly imperative.
After all the escapades, the prolific criminals were able to re-strategize and bombed the railing on the Abuja-Kaduna route on Wednesday night, theses show the quick changes on attack and brought about the new face of banditry.
Apparently, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has raised an alarm to the federal government which led to the suspension of train services indefinitely. Rehabilitation of the railing has commenced. More security personnel have been deployed to the affected areas which will aid in bringing normalcy.
The NRC and security personnel are working hard to put in place measures for tackling the issue, so as to make sure the train services continue to operate as it was before the attack.
