Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme
The University of Padua in Italy provides undergraduate and graduate study opportunities for international students through the Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme.
Scholarships are available through the University of Padua to exceptionally gifted students who want to study for a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Padua that is entirely taught in English.
The scholarship covers tuition fees as well as a €8,000 subsistence grant. Successful students must pay an annual admission fee equal to the regional tax plus marca da bollo.
The scholarship can be awarded for a maximum of two consecutive years to candidates for a master’s degree, or three successive years to candidates for a bachelor’s and single cycle degree.
The University of Padua’s Departments also provide partial scholarships; these do not include remission of tuition fees.

Eligibility For Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme
You have to fulfill the following criteria to be qualified:
- Do not hold Italian citizenship (unless they hold dual citizenship with Italy).
- Have a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate, which permits entrance to the Italian university system, for candidates seeking bachelor’s or single cycle degrees, or a non-Italian bachelor’s degree, which permits entry to applicants seeking master’s degrees.
- Do not reside in Italy.
- Apply to one or more of the University of Padua’s degree programs taught in English by following the guidelines and by the deadlines specified. You can apply to three different degree programs.
