The Nigeria Railway corporation has resumed its operations at Abuja Kaduna Railway today after 8 months, the operation has been stopped immediately after the unwanted attack and kidnappings in march this year.
The management has made it clear that passengers should expect an increase in transportation fares and there would be no night trips. They also advised that every passenger should come along with NIN and other relevant means of identification before getting access to the departure hall with a valid ticket which is available on online and NRC mobile application.
The timetable of the NRC shows that not more than two trips would be accommodated daily from Kaduna to Abuja and Abuja to Kaduna as well. The Abuja time was scheduled for 9:45 am to 11:53 am, 3:30 pm to 5:30 Pm, and also from Kaduna was for 8:00 am to 10:17 am and 2:00 pm to 4:07 pm.
