This significant spike comes amidst the ongoing COVID-19 booster shot rollout, raising renewed public concern over the resurgence of infections.

NCDC Advisory
The NCDC has reiterated its warning to all Nigerians to remain clinically vigilant and observe all COVID-19 protocols.
Citizens experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing are strongly encouraged to seek immediate medical attention and report to designated health authorities.
In light of the booster shot availability, the agency also urged eligible individuals to take their booster doses for increased protection against the virus, especially new variants.
