Responding to questions about the security of Bauchi State, which is bordered by chaotic states, Senator Bala Abdulkadir called for the formation of a Security and Peace Council, which would include retired military and police officers and be responsible for advising the government on the nation’s security architecture.

He explained that his administration has established a Ministry of Internal Security that collaborates with all National and Local security agencies to protect the state, stating that the effort is producing excellent results.

Responding to inquiries about agricultural opportunities in the state, Senator Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir claimed that Bauchi State is one of the leading producers of sesame seeds, which are in high demand in Middle Eastern countries, but that the state’s potential has been hampered by a poor strategy.

He further stated that his administration is working hard to revitalize the agricultural export sector through the use of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, for which certification has been obtained.

In a statement, the Commandant of the National Defense College Abuja, Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Morakinyo OLOTU, expressed gratitude to the Governor on behalf of the college and course 32 participants for accepting the invitation to be the guest speaker at the college.
