Alpha P, whose real name is Princewill Solomon Emmanuel, was born and raised in Benin City, in the southern Nigerian state of Edo. On February 26, 2002, he was born in Edo state into a family of seven, consisting of two sisters and two brothers. Alpha P wrote gospel music at a young age while attending the Christ Embassy church on Ekenwan Road in Benin City, Edo state. He is similar to Rema, who rapped gospel music.
No, he didn’t sing in the choir because he didn’t think it was cool. But until 2018, he was a part of the religious youth singing ensemble 7th Dimensions. In an interview with Wale Oloworekende, Alpha P related stories of touring major venues in Benin with 7th Dimension.

After emerging victorious in the second season of Pikolo’s Dream Alive talent competition, they inked a record deal with Peak Entertainment and issued their first single, “Mercy.” Both singers haven’t been heard performing together since 2013. He was connected to Universal Music by a man named Bizzle, whom his manager had introduced to him. In November 2019, he secured a contract with the Universal Music Group. He released a 5-track EP titled “King of the Wolves” after signing with Universal Music Nigeria, which featured the hit song “Paloma.” DJ Tunez’s remix of the song has received 1.5 million views so far. Tunez On the song “Cross my heart,” he also worked with Tellaman, a South African musician.
