Gruesome Ritual Killing: Boy Murdered, Brain Removed in Bauchi | Friend Narrowly Escapes

Tragedy struck the city of Bauchi on Sunday, November 21, when two young Almajiri boys were reportedly abducted by suspected ritualists in a chilling incident that has left the community in shock.
According to eyewitness reports, the children were lured by the criminals with the promise of leftover food.
However, what seemed like an innocent gesture quickly turned into a horror scene.
One Boy Escapes, Raises Alarm
One of the boys managed to escape the attack and ran to their guardian, Malam Auwal, in a panic, pointing frantically in the direction of the incident.
Despite being in a state of shock, the boy’s courage led to a swift response.
“I knew something was terribly wrong from his expression and the way he burst in,” said Malam Auwal. “We rushed to the location he pointed at, only to find the other boy lying in a pool of blood.”
Victim’s Brain Chopped Out | Still Breathing When Found
Upon arrival at the crime scene, about 15 blocks away from Sheik Dahiru Usman Bauchi’s residence, the boy was found severely mutilated, with his brain allegedly removed.
Shockingly, he was still breathing at the time but succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
The Bauchi State Police reportedly arrived shortly after and attempted to transfer the boy to the Trauma Unit, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Father Informed, Suspects on the Run
The deceased’s father, Malam Musa, was informed immediately after the attack.
Meanwhile, the suspects fled the scene and remain at large.
Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation and are urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in their capture.
Alarming Rise in Ritual Killings
This disturbing event adds to the growing concern about the rise in ritual killings across northern Nigeria, especially targeting vulnerable children.
Residents are calling on the Bauchi State Government and relevant security agencies to intensify patrols and community safety awareness.
