Nigeria’s youth empowerment scene has seen the rise of Ayodele Olawande “Ayo Wisdom,” a passionate and active youth leader for the APC, who was recently nominated by President Tinubu to be Minister of State for Youth.
Being a native of Lagos, he brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and vision to the forefront of youth development.
At the age of 28, Ayodele had already made great strides in his professional career.
He started out as a teacher, instilling morality and knowledge in the impressionable minds of his society.
At this point, he saw the great potential of Nigeria’s youth population and the necessity of providing them with opportunities to use their skills.
His political path changed when he became a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Due to his commitment to the party, Ayodele was appointed Youth Coordinator for the APC Lagos State Chapter.
In this capacity, he has tirelessly campaigned to involve youth in politics by encouraging them to voice their concerns and take an active part in shaping the future of the country.
Before being named Minister of State for Youth by President Tinubu, he would eventually fill a number of posts in the government and the APC.
