
NNPC Disproves Ongoing Recruitment Rumors | Warns Public Against Scammers

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has officially debunked reports making the rounds on social media platforms claiming that the company is currently conducting a recruitment exercise.
In a press statement released on Saturday, November 5, 2022, the Group General Manager of Public Affairs, Garba Deen Muhammad, made it clear that the circulating information is entirely false and should be disregarded by the public.

“NNPC IS NOT RECRUITING.
This is to inform the general public that the information circulating, especially on social media platforms, claiming that Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is conducting a recruitment exercise is NOT TRUE and should be ignored.Whenever Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited decides to recruit, it will make an official announcement via authentic and credible public communication channels, including the company’s website: www.nnpcgroup.com.
Once again, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is NOT recruiting. Please **do not fall into the trap of scammers.” –

Public Alert | Job Seekers Urged to Remain Vigilant
Mr. Muhammad strongly advised job seekers to be cautious and avoid falling prey to fraudulent individuals or groups who are misusing the firm name to exploit unsuspecting Nigerians.
He reaffirmed that any legitimate recruitment would always be announced through trusted public channels, never through random social media posts.
