Born in Masaka, Uganda on February 20, 2000, Chosen Becky hails from a profoundly religious family; her mother is a devoted born-again Christian, and her father is a preacher. She was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Kukiriza, who instilled in her strong Christian principles. Dona Kukiriza and Ruth Kuganja are her two sisters.

A trainer approached Chosen Becky to teach her how to sing after noticing her obvious talent and close links to her family. By the time she graduated from P7, she had improved her singing skills through perseverance and hard effort. She obtained employment in Masaka after graduating from senior four, where she continued to hone her musical abilities.
During a cosmetics promotion in Masaka during this time, Joseph Kiwangwa, the owner of NIK Cosmetics, noticed Chosen Becky’s talent. She got in touch with the NIK Production management team after being chosen for a music project.
She moved to Kampala and lived in Masajja. She recorded her first song, Bankuza, with producer Nessim Pan Production and Mr. Joseph’s help. Following the song’s widespread exposure, Becky’s management team named Victor Kamenyo as her official manager. Victor Henry wrote the song.
Despite having just two songs—Bankuza and Byabangi—Chosen Becky’s first-ever performance was organized by NIK Production as a result of Bankuza’s success. The audience was enthralled with Becky’s amazing vocal ability and captivating stage presence, which made the event a huge success.
2019 saw Chosen Becky make a calculated decision to leave her prior management position at NIK Production and formally join David Lutalo’s management group. This choice offered access to priceless chances and resources, such as recording studios run by David Lutalo. David Lutalo took the partnership a step further by writing a song just for Chosen Becky.
