Bella Alubo Early life
Born and bred in Jos, Nigeria’s Benue State, Alubo’s upbringing as a poet equipped her with the skills necessary to become a proficient composer.
Bella Alubo Career
Alubo released two EPs in 2018: Late Night Vibrations, a collaborative EP with Ycee, and Re-Bella, a follow-up EP including BOJ, Victoria Kimani, Efya, and Sho Madjozi. She released the Summer Over EP in 2019 with Mr. Eazi and numerous more artists. She released tracks featuring Lady Donli and Fasina. She released the “Agbani” remix in August 2019 with Zlatan Ibile. She was recognized among 2018’s promising talents and nominated for the Nigeria Entertainment Awards’ promising act to watch. Her total number of streams on different platforms is up to 20 million. In September 2018, Bella finally departed from Tinny Entertainment.
Her first studio album, Bella Buffet, was released in 2021. Benin City Entertainment re-released her official single, Location, starring Niniola, in May 2022.
Elliot Osagìe, a Nigerian-American, formed the Benin City Entertainment label, which she signed to in 2022.
Bella appeared with Ty Dolla $ign in The Notorious B.I.G. song G.O.A.T. in 2022, which was produced by Elliot Osagìe and Kayo. Biggie’s vocals from the Life After Death smash song “I Love The Dough,” which he sang alongside Jay-Z and Angela Winbush, are featured in the song. In that song, Biggie talked about his amazing lifestyle.
Bella was recruited on May 29, 2022, by Red Hot Org, a significant HIV/AIDS group, to work with Lady Donli, Tomi Owo, Mz Kiss, and Oshun on a new initiative named Kele-le. The four-track EP, which means “girlfriend” in Swahili and “unignorable sound” in Pinggin, not only showcases the musicians’ abilities but also unites them for a common goal.
