Adams Olabode Michael was born and reared in Lagos, where he completed his tertiary education at the University of Lagos. Olabode is the youngest of five children and started playing the drums as a toddler. His elder brother asked him to try out singing.

On December 5, 2022, “Ye Anthem” debuted at number ten on the Nigeria TurnTable Top Alternative/Dancehall Songs list. On December 10, 2022, the song topped the Pulse Nigeria Future Sounds playlist.
