Blaqbonez Career

At the age of 13, Blaqbonez began rapping in 2009. He was challenged to a rap fight by his cousin against a 12-year-old they had heard rapping on the radio. When Blaqbonez accepted the challenge, his rapping career officially started. Blaqbonez began competing in unofficial rap fights in 2011. He eventually defeated 3000 rappers to win Terry Tha Rapman’s Zombie Competition in 2012, which helped him get closer to becoming famous. He appeared on Terry’s mixtape “World Domination” the same year along with renowned Nigerian musicians including Olamide, Vector, Mode 9, and Spellz.

After winning the Tosinadeda’s radio palm wine in 2015, Blaqbonez’s fan base grew. In the same year, Blaqbonez won the Rhythmfm Freestyle Fury and finished as the first runner-up in Vector’s King Kong Rap competition. He also became RhythmFm’s artist of the month for the year. 2015 also saw the release of Blaqbonez’s third EP, CTAT (Cassette Tapes and TVs). In addition to his accomplishments in 2015, Blaqbonez won Soundcity’s competition Hennessy Vs. Class. After he published his “South Africa Must Go” music album, in which Oladips was a featured artist, Blaqbonez gained popularity.

Blackbonez calls himself BRIA – “Best Rapper in Africa” in a diss track and an interview with The Punch newspaper. His diss single, which took on more established Nigerian rappers like M.I. Abaga and Vector, got him renowned but also stirred up a lot of controversy. Later, Blaqbonez said the single was a wake-up call for African rappers, who he called lazy. Blaqbonez Songs

The E.P “Bad Boy Blaq” by Blaqbonez was released on August 31, 2018. The “Bad Boy Blaq” was created by M.I. Abaga, the former CEO of chocolate city. On the 100 Crowns music label, a division of Chocolate City, the EP record was made available. A follow-up to the “Bad Boy Blaq” EP called “Bad Bloy Blaq Re-Up” was published in February 2019 and debuted at number 46 on Nigeria’s iTunes Hip Hop Chart.

On October 25, 2019, Blaqbonez’s most current and ninth EP, named “Mr. Boombastic,” was made available. It was released the day following Blaqbonez’s “Jesus Is Black” promotional single, which functioned as a letter to Kanye West. It contains a request from Blaqbonez to Kanye West to delay the release of his “Jesus Is King” album, which was scheduled to be released on the same day as Blaqbonez’s “Mr. Boombastic” album. Blaqbonez Family

Blaqbonez released his eighth EP, “Bad Boy Blaq,” on August 31, 2018. This song was originally included in one of the three hip-hop albums that make up the L.A.M.B project, which tries to restore Nigerian hip-hop.

In 2020, Blaqbonez then dropped “Haba,” one of his trendiest songs.

On April 30, 2021, Blaqbonez made his album “Sex Over Love” available. The album’s 14 tracks includes previously released songs like “Haba,” “BBC (Remix),” and “Bling,” which Amaarae and Buju performed.

The album also has performances from Nasty C, Joeboy, Bad Boy Timz, and 1Da Banton, among others. On “Zombie,” Laycon, Psycho YP, and AQ appeared, then Superboy Cheque showed up on “Best Friend.”

On September 17th, 2021, Blaqbonez dropped “1000 Years.” On the song “1000 Years,” DJ Yankee used the rapping of rapper Blaqbonez from Chocolate City, while Cheque from Penthauze Music completely changed the arrangement with his rapping, lyrics, and melody.
