From May 2015 to May 2023, he served as the secretary to the Kaduna State Government under Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
From July 2003 to July 2007, he was El-Rufai’s chief of staff in the Federal Capital Territory.
He worked as a special assistant to the Minister of State for Education from September 1999 until February 2001.
