Hadi Abubakar Sirika (born March 2, 1964) is Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation.

He is a former member of the House of Representatives and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, having represented Katsina North Senatorial District in the 2011 election cycle on the Congress for Progressive Change platform.

Sirika served as vice-chairman of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Committee established by the Nigerian Senate.

Hadi was elected to the Federal House of Representatives in 2003 and served until 2007.

Sirika Hadi was re-elected to the Nigerian Senate to represent Kastina North on the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) platform in the 2011 election.

Nigeria Air: Sirika, daughter charged with N2.7 billion fraud

Barring any last-minute changes, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission will charge Hadi Sirika, the immediate former Minister of Aviation, with an alleged N2.7 billion fraud in connection with the failed Nigerian Air project, today (Thursday).

Sirika will appear before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal Capital Territory’s High Court in Abuja on six counts, along with his daughter Fatimah and two others.
