Mansura Isa Education

I attended the Federal College of Education (FCE) Kano Staff School, where I passed both the National Examinations Council (NECO) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams with flying colors.

I later completed a diploma in computer studies before enrolling at Bayero University Kano.

However, I married throughout the process and had to complete my degree program at the University of Abuja, where I was stationed with my husband amid the Sharia uprising in Kano.

I was the first actress in Kannywood to use her money to become a producer; I achieved stardom without experiencing any sort of crisis; and I had a successful 13-year marriage to another Nollywood actor, Sani Musa Danja, with whom I have four children: three boys and one girl.

To top it all off, I work as a professional marketer and philanthropist.

What’s the secret? You always appear so joyful and youthful.

Among many, God made me a Muslim. Second, I was young when I married the man I loved, and together we had four children, all of whom are Kannywood celebrities.

Along with being a graduate, I am also the CEO of the Today Life Foundation, where I support the underprivileged by helping them during Ramadan and paying their medical bills.

I have every reason to be joyful because I am enjoying my marriage at home.

Describe the beginning of your trip to Kannywood.

To be honest, the plot is captivating. I began my career as a food vendor and caterer; in fact, I had no interest in acting until a resident named Auwalu Larabawa requested me to prepare meals for them whenever they were filming.

After that, more people in the business started using my catering services. Then one day I was urged to decide to become an actor by someone named Aminu Kwai Abaka.

It was difficult because I came from a devout family, but I began acting in secret until my brother’s buddy informed him that I had begun.

Our family went through a severe crisis as a result, but my father later gave me the go-ahead to carry on with acting. After that, I’ve been acting up to this point.

After being in a few movies, you decided to go into production. What difficulties did you encounter?

It was horrible for me; for my first picture which I produced in Jos, most of the actors and actresses I called refused to come, with most of them wondering who Monsura was to make a film.

Unfazed, I traveled to Jos without a director and subsequently requested Falalu Dorayi to take the helm of the movie. He succeeded in doing so.

Since then, I’ve worked in marketing, film production, importation of products like bags, shoes, and wrappers, and even sports activity promotion.

Generally, I work hard to see that my family is comfortable even though my spouse is rich.

When you talk about your attractive husband, people ask why your marriage has stayed harmonious.

My spouse was someone I knew well. Because he is wealthy and attractive, women used to swarm around him before I married him.

Ladies in our culture tend to be quite fascinated with celebrities, but I have resolved to act as though I did not see or hear any of it.

That implies that I’m in it for the long haul. As my husband and I have already gone a long way, I will never let a woman out of nowhere ruin our marriage.

I hear all kinds of gossip because my spouse and I are constantly on the road, but it doesn’t affect me because I genuinely adore my family and my spouse.

Is Mansura Isa still married?
