A post claiming and describing how Hyunjin used to be verbally abusive during his early teens in middle school was made by an anonymous online forum user in February 2021.
Soon after, his agency, JYP Entertainment, started conducting interviews and doing investigations to find out the facts. The organization claims that Hyunjin has personally apologized for his inappropriate behavior after meeting the accuser.
