About Heather Storm
My life was completely turned upside down when, at the age of 12, my family moved from the big city of Philadelphia (population 3 million) to a small town in Montana (population 8k).
To say that life changed dramatically would be an understatement, and I admit that I wasn’t too thrilled with this change, but eventually, I adapted, and what I had considered as a hindrance as a teenager eventually became seen as a strength.
My father taught me early on the value of independence, which has given me a lot of strength. He gave me essential life lessons on how to use a pistol, handle tools, and renovate our home.
My early years were spent hiking and camping frequently, which helped me to have a strong respect for the natural world.
After graduating from Oregon State with a degree in environmental science, I worked on sustainable tourism programs in Puerto Rico, where I primarily spent my leisure time beachcombing and surfing.
Puerto Rico is a lovely place, and while I enjoyed living there, I felt drawn to explore more, so I relocated to Los Angeles and began to fall deeper into the entertainment industry.
As a fitness trainer, model, brand ambassador, luxury spirit portfolio manager, and eventually, as a co-founder of the boutique event company Black LAB, I worked nonstop to keep my head above water in between classes and auditions.
I carefully worked my way up in the entertainment industry in the meantime, and I currently host dozens of direct-response advertisements in addition to appearing in over 50 national commercials.
I drive throughout America in my vintage Mustang, sharing tidbits of local culture, as writer and producer of the travel series Drive Yourself Local.
In addition, as a writer and news correspondent for My Combat Channel, I interviewed both up-and-coming fighters and MMA superstars.
I also produced and presented the EDM cocktail series “The MixDown” on Complex TV, which received over 180 million impressions.
I co-host the podcast Man Seeks Adventure, create multi-media material for my lifestyle blog On the Road, and co-host the Discovery/Velocity series Garage Squad.
