Canserbero Biography

Known by his stage name Canserbero, Tirone José González Orama (March 11, 1988 – January 19, 2015) was a rapper from Venezuela who is regarded as one of the most important representatives of independent rap in both his native country and the rest of Latin America.

When he was younger, he expressed an interest in music, primarily reggaeton. However, following the death of his half-brother, he began to reference harder rock and hip hop, which is evident in songs like “Es épico.”

During his career, Canserbero recorded two solo studio albums, Vida (2010) and Muerte (2012), respectively. Among his well-known songs are “Pensando en ti,” “Es épico,” “C’est la mort,” and “Maquiavélico.” Additionally, he sang backup vocals on various songs by Spanish and Latin American musicians, like Mala Rodríguez, with whom he recorded the song “Ella” (2013). Canserbero was discovered dead in January 2015 after falling from a Maracay apartment. Regarding his passing, there are various theories.

Findings and initial research

Canserbero was discovered dead in front of his apartment on January 20, 2015. The artist collapsed from the tenth story of the Andrés Bello urbanization in Maracay’s Camino Real building. At first, a few of his close friends insisted that because the artist suffered from schizophrenia, he lived in the apartment of friend and colleague Carlos Molnar, a bassist. Molnar was stabbed to death that same day. In March of the same year, however, Venezuela’s Ombudsman Tarek William Saab revived the case due to new information that clarified some of the “witnesses”‘ theories.

Given the “presumed” psychotic state in which Canserbero was used at the time of launching, the first hypothesis raises intriguing questions because it is predicated on the fact that the kitchen window was constructed of Roman villas and that all of the glasses had been previously removed. The defender, who bases his case on the sisters’ evidence that the Roman villas were not there when Canserbero fell, claims that “having taken the Roman villas out of the window indicates a method, not despair” and that “someone put them back later.”

Even though his family said he was not mentally sick, he was depressed when Carlos Molnar, the bassist for Zion TPL, requested him to stay with him.

Canserbero was long suspected of stabbing Molnar to death before jumping from the building’s tenth story to his demise. But after a number of his family members voiced concerns about the police investigation, the Public Ministry of Venezuela, under the direction of Prosecutor General Tarek William Saab, reopened the case on November 11, 2023.

Confession, a second inquiry, and actual occurrences

After both suspects made a video confession, the Public Ministry on December 26, 2023, stated that Canserbero’s former manager Natalia Améstica, and her brother Guillermo Améstica had perpetrated two homicides. Natalia claims that Canserbero’s desire to be taken over by someone else and the news that she would not be getting paid by her husband Carlos Molnar for organizing an upcoming tour of Argentina and Chile were the driving forces behind the murder.

Canserbero and Molnar were scheduled to appear at Natalia Améstica’s residence on January 20, 2015, at night to film videos for a performance in Panama. Next, by dissolving two 0.5 mg tablets in their tea, Natalia purposefully gave both Canserbero and Molnar a medicine called Alpram (alprazolam, also known as Xanax). She then stabbed Molnar three times in the arm, back, and neck, cutting his jugular vein. Concerned Canserbero saw Molnar stabbed, but he was too drowsy from the Alpram to do anything more than nod off on their couch, according to Natalia.

Unaware at the time, Natalia proceeded to stab Canserbero twice in the side. Feeling distressed and unsure of what to do, Natalia called her brother Guillermo Améstica for assistance in feigning a murder-suicide. Later, he showed up with four SEBIN agents who had accepted a $10,000 bribe to cover up the murder. Guillermo then went on to attack Molnar four more times before dragging Canserbero’s body into their kitchen and repeatedly striking it in the head with a pipe. Then, to portray a suicide, the romanilla (lattice door) of their windows was carefully removed, and Canserbero’s body was tossed out of the window. Natalia quickly left for Chile after killing the people.
