In a statement released on Thursday, his family confirmed his death and stated that funeral arrangements would be announced shortly.
“With great sadness, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Blessing Gama, formerly known as King Bless.”
“We know he changed many people’s lives and offered boundless joy to those around him. We respectfully request that during this time, we allow the family to grieve.”
However, the family did not identify the cause of his death. Adrin Kaunda, a family representative, told Sunday World that the family is devastated and still trying to cope with Blessing’s death.
“They have not given me the go-ahead to share the cause of his death, and I will only do so once they have,” Adrin said, as reported.

Friends, coworkers, and fans have shared their best memories of Blessing on social media, prompting a torrent of grief messages and touching condolences.

Blessing Gama, a television producer, has passed away. A post on his social media platforms confirmed his death.
As a producer for numerous MojaLove shows such as Rea Tsotela, eTV’s “The Morning Show” and was also in charge of Guest Relations for Season 3 of Real Talk With Anele.
“We regret to inform you that Blessing Gama, also known as King Bless, has passed away.
We know he has changed many people’s lives and offered infinite joy to those around him.
We respectfully request that during this time, we allow the family to grieve.”
The cause of death was not disclosed
“The family is still devastated, as you might understand. Adrin Kaunda, the family’s spokesperson, told Sunday World on Thursday morning that they are still struggling to come to grips with the circumstance.
“They have not given me any go-ahead to share the cause of his death, and I will only do that as soon as they have done so.”
The family released a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Blessing Gama, formerly known as King Bless.”
“We are aware that he has touched many lives and offered infinite delight to those around him. We respectfully request that we allow the family time to grieve.
“The details of the funeral arrangements will follow.”
Gama was an experienced television producer who had worked on several significant shows, including the popular Moja Love show Rea Tsotella.
