Irish camogie player and television personality Anna Geary was born on July 28, 1987 in Milford, County Cork.

Anna Geary Sporting career

She has won four All Star honors, the most recent of which was in 2011. Her prior All-Star victories came in 2005, 2006, and 2010. and medals from All Ireland in 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2014. In 2007, she was put forward for a second All-Star award.

Cork won the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship with Geary serving as captain. Three All-Ireland Club medals were won by Geary in 2013, 2014, and 2016. With her team Milford, she won three county and three Munster camogie club medals. When she was a member of GSC Luxembourg in 2008, she also captured a European camogie title. Geary announced her intercounty camogie retirement in May 2015 at the age of 27.
