Five Dead And Several Injured In Fire Incident At Kubuwa Market Abuja

The fire incident occurred after the explosion, killing five and injuring several others the victims were rushed to the hospital as stated in a statement signed by Josephine Adeh, Police spokesman.

The statement also indicates that the FCT Police command have installed proper operatives for the investigation on the unfortunate fire incident at Kubuwa Village market.
Five people were burnt to dead, over ten were taken to healthcare units for propper treatment and two shops were burned down completely, according to investigation.
Forensic Department of the Command Criminal Investigations have been initiated for discreet investigation on the case by the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday, who described the case as unfortunate.
He commiserated the families of the victims and also noted that the inferno is under control, he therefore commended the public present during the scene for the effort they rendered in rescue and control of the incident.
