Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim grew up in Nigeria’s Abuja. Before going to Federal Government Girls College, Bwari, Abuja, for her secondary education, she completed her nursery and elementary schooling at Aruwa Nursery School in Abuja and Jabi Primary School (now LEA Primary School, Jabi).

She received her degree in sociology from the University of Abuja when she was 19 years old.

She graduated from Webster University with an MBA and an MA at twenty-one. She completed the required National Youth Service Corps at the Kaduna zonal office of NNPC.

Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim began her career at Abuja Geographic Information Systems, or AGIS, before relocating to the UK and working in management, business, and human resources before earning her SAP certification as an HCM consultant. After joining Mary Kay, Sulaiman-Ibrahim rose to the position of senior sales director.

In September 2019, Nassarawa State Executive Governor Engr. A. A. Sule named her to the Nasarawa State Economic Advisory Council.

She served as a special consultant on strategic communication to Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, the state minister of education.
