Jade Ewen Biography

Born on January 24, 1988, Jade Louise Ewen is a British singer, actor, and former Sugababes member. Her singing career started in the female trio Trinity Stone, who secured a record deal with Sony BMG in 2005 but broke up without putting out an album in 2007. She performed the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Diane Warren song “It’s My Time” to represent the United Kingdom in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the right. She came in sixth place overall.

In September 2009, Ewen controversially took Keisha Buchanan’s spot in the Sugababes group. Before splitting up in 2011, the trio released two UK top-ten singles and a top-fifteen album after joining.

Ewen had an appearance on the How To Dance children’s dance DVD. She made a brief appearance in the “What I Go to School For” music video by Busted. What happened to Jade Ewen?
