Drug Raid
Police raided Eyadini Lounge in February 2017 after receiving reports that drugs were being peddled at the eatery.
On February 9, 2017, the Mpumalanga Hawks and members of the organized crime unit invaded Eyadini Lounge.
Hawks acknowledged the raid, but no drugs were discovered on the property, according to a newspaper article.
Jabulani Zama accused his competitors of carrying out the raid to harm his company.
Tax Debt
To settle his tax deficit in 2019, Jabulani Zama put his opulent Rolls-Royce Phantom and Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 63 up for auction.
The vehicles were valued at least R8 million at the time. On behalf of Zama, Keith Green of Park Village Auctions conducted the car sale.
He acknowledged to City Press that he owed millions to the South African Revenue Service (Sars), but he maintained that he had an agreement in place with Sars to pay off his debt through monthly installments.
