Atiku Leads PDP Protest, Storms INEC Office

Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the party, and Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the Director General of the PDP Campaign, are leading a peaceful protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Abuja, along with other party leaders, members of the National Working Committee (NWC), and Board of Trustee (BoT) of the party.

The protesters, dressed in black attire and riding in two open vans, began their demonstration from Legacy House in Maitama, the PDP’s presidential campaign office.

They plan to continue together to the INEC office, where the party leaders will voice their concerns to the electoral commission.

The PDP is protesting the conduct of the presidential and National Assembly elections, as well as the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the presidential poll.

The party has called for the cancellation of the elections due to what they claim were irregularities during the exercise.
